THE WATCH (IT)
support: KRAKEL SPEKTAKEL (SE)
The Watch gave a stunning performance. With their Genesis
influenced prog they managed to restore our faith in modern
progressive music. The setlist included pieces from the bands
3 albums as well as a few Genesis covers. Hopefully we will
be able to have them back in Sweden real soon. Check out their
fantastic CD's available through Progress
Records web shop
Here are some live photos from the concert.

The support act this evening was a new band
made up from
members of Cross, Galleon & Grand Stand. We got a piece
from each of the bands repertoire. Bleeding in silence (Cross),
Empty barrels rattle the most (Grand Stand) and Fall of fame
(Galleon). The audience really appreciated Krakel Spektakel.
Check out some live photos.

ARENA (UK)
Special guest: GRAND STAND (SE)
Arena entered the stage to an ecstatic crowd that had been waiting
a long time for Arena - this was their very first visit to Stockholm!
Their two-hour set was nothing else than brilliant; the first hour
was given to their latest effort "Contagion" while the
second half consisted of "classics" from their previous
four albums. The crowd was happy with what they saw and heard and
wouldn't let the band leave the stage, everyone was happy and Arena
said that they very much would like to come back and play in Stockholm.

Grand Stand opened up the evening with a set close to an hour, which
consists of songs from their latest album "Tricks Of Time"
as well as songs from their forthcoming 2004 release. They took
the crowd by storm whose cheers never seemed to end. Keyboardist
Olov Andersson was amazing and new vocalist Daniel Groth who did
his first show with the band made a very big impression. Grand Stand
surely made a lot of new fans this evening!

A.C.T (SE)
Special guest: BRIGHTEYE BRISON (SE)
A.C.T is one of the best live-bands out there today and they gave
a stunning performance as usual. The crowd at Lilla Mondo was more
than pleased. We were treated to pieces like "Tinnitus"
and "Insomniac" as well as (modern) classics like "Take
it easy. A.C.T is tight, musical, very entertaining and we hope
to see them back in Stockholm very soon.

Brighteye Brison entered the stage in front of an almost sold-out
Lilla Mondo and kicked off the 2nd Progress Club event. We were
treated to pieces both from their debut album as well as new songs
from their forthcoming follow up CD. Nobody in the audience will
ever forget the fantastic saxophone solo from Linus Kåse.
Surely a band to look out for in the future.

GALLEON (SE)
Special guest: LIQUID SCARLET (SE)
The
Swedish prog heroes Galleon treated us to a stunning performance,
with great musicianship and fronted by their fearless leader and
multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Göran Fors. Galleon is a great
live act and this night wasn't any different. The pieces performed
was taken exclusively from their new double-concept album "From
Land To Ocean", which was released on the night of the concert.
A great concert and a stunning new album!

This was Liquid Scarlet's first gig in Stockholm and the audience
was literally taken by storm. Liquid Scarlet treated us to about
an hour of their music taken from their forthcoming debut-album.
With the musical roots planted firmly in the early seventies and
a youthful approach they took the Progress Club crowd on a fantastic
musical journey.
The future for Swedish prog certainly looks bright!
